GODHEAD Collaborate With Ex-EVANESCENCE Guitarist, Singer Sheds More Light On Break-Up Rumors
January 18, 2004In spite of a recent false report on several Internet sites (including BLABBERMOUTH.NET) that GODHEAD frontman Jason Miller had decided to break up the band, GODHEAD are still together and are planning a U.S. tour in support of their current release on Reality Entertainment, "Evolver". In addition, they are writing material with former EVANESCENCE guitarist Ben Moody, Jason and band guitarist Mike Miller just played an acoustic show in Los Angeles, their new video for the next single off "Evolver", "Far Too Long", is about to be released to MTV and Fuse, and they have songs on the upcoming "Galarian Rion" soundtrack.
This is not the first time that an unfounded rumor made its way onto message boards. According to Miller, the original source of the rumors, a posting from someone claiming to be the singer, was made by a member of an 83-member group calling themselves "The Official Godhead Club". "There is some guy who is a member there who hates me for some reason," Jason said. "Maybe I slept with his girlfriend. Maybe I accidentally hit him with a water bottle from the stage. Maybe he hates all of our songs and thinks we suck. I have no idea who he is and, to be honest, can't be bothered trying to find out." But, Miller continued, "I do want the fans to know that the best place to get postings from the real me is on our official website, Godhead.com."
